A - Round trip around the Kalkstein 44 kmThe cycle tour starts on a beautiful gravel path along the Großache. At the village of Waidring, you ride into the Hasselbach valley before turning off on the beautiful cycle path along Pillersee. The route then slowly climbs up to Hochfilzen. On a quiet country road through a stream valley, you cycle back to St Johann.B - Round trip to Walchsee 44 or 57 kmThis tough cycle route goes via Kirchdorf over the flanks of the Wilder Kaiser to Griesenau, where you can take a trip to the beautifully situated Grieseneralm. The tour continues along streams, over mountain pastures and through farming villages to Walchsee. At Kössen you re-enter the valley of the Großache. Along this river you return to St. Johann. The short route does not go via the Walchsee, but directly to Kössen.C Round trip to Kitzbühel 24, 44 or 54 kmAt the foot of the Wilder Kaiser lies the Bichlach. Through this beautiful and hilly area you cycle to the Schwarzee near Kitzbühel. From the pretty Altstadt, you can take an additional round trip along the Kitzbüheler Ache. The way back to St. Johann leads along the time-honoured Römerweg. On the way, you can visit a 400-year-old museum farm.D - Round trip to Hopfgarten 35 or 68 kmA varied round trip past picturesque villages like Going and Elmau. After a climb, you reach Hopfgarten. Via Brixen and Kirchberg, you reach Schwarzsee and finally Kitzbühel again. From several places you can return comfortably by bike on the train.E - Round trip around St. Johann 35 kmThis cycle route gives you an impression of St Johann and of the wide valley in which St Johann and the surrounding rural farming hamlets lie. You cycle along the small rivers that flow together here and get a (last) glimpse of St. Johann's 'house mountains': the Kitzbüheler Horn and the imposing jagged mountain massif Wilder Kaiser. In Erpfendorf, you have the option of cycling on to the spectacular Grießbachklamm, where we have described an easy hike through this impressive gorge.F - Round trip along the foot of the Wilder Kaiser 13 kmFrom the hotel, you climb across the meadows to the pilgrimage chapel of the Einsiedelei Maria Blut. You then walk on a sloping meadow path along the flanks of the Wilder Kaiser to the Rummlerhof. Via a quiet, gently rising path you then reach the Römerhof, a nice place for an extended break. From the Römerhof, you descend on a quiet asphalt road to the Reither Ache. Along this river you walk back to the hotel.G - Hike from the Harschbichl 7 or 11 kmThe Harschbichl (1600 m) is located behind the hotel and can be easily reached by cable car. From this point you descend to the Stangelalm at your leisure, enjoying beautiful views. You then climb back to the Mittelstation via the Müllneralm. There you can take the lift back down or walk back to the hotel. On the way, you'll pass a beautiful lake and then descend through a shady forest to St Johann.
